Facilitation is a set of skills to be used in working with a group, enabling and supporting them to achieve their objectives in a way that involves and respects all contributions, builds ownership and releases the potential of the group and its members. It helps differentiate between process and content. 

As a facilitator, I've been working with groups for over 5 years. I'm a member of the Training group of Insha Osvita, an NGO witch support non-formal education and participation methods in the learning process. 
I'm focused on facilitating strategic sessions, educational programs, facilitation in Arts, design of the sessions, team building, fundraising and crowdfunding, project management.

Docu Club School

«Docu/Clubs network for reforms» is a two-year nationwide project that promotes local development and democratic reforms in the field of human rights, as well as aims to collaborate and build the capacity of local authorities and civil society. This project is funded by the European Union. 

 The project will increase awareness of practical tools for human rights protection, current democratic human rights reforms in Ukraine and accompanying government campaigns, and how each organization and individual can help promote and implement them.

The project will facilitate the promotion and implementation of democratic human rights reforms in Ukraine at the regional and national levels, strengthening local participation and responsibility, and implementation of practical advocacy measures.

 

Today, the Network successfully operates across the country in schools, colleges, universities, libraries, NGOs, Euroclubs, free legal aid centers, correctional colonies and penitentiary educational institutions.  At the beginning of 2019, the Network consisted of 208 film clubs, and at the beginning of 2020 it numbered 270 film clubs. Each year, they hold over 2000 film screenings and discussions involving 40 thousand viewers.

  • discuss the results of advocacy campaigns

  • develop moderations skills

  • networking

Crowdfunding Academy. UNDP

UNDP Crowdfunding Academy is an interactive training program that empowers and builds the capacities of organizations to gain the necessary knowledge and skills on how to prepare and run a successful crowdfunding campaign. 

 

The program is intended for civil society organizations that want to start, expand, or rebuild their businesses using online tools and innovative methodologies. Through interactive modules and tools, organizations will learn how to create elements of crowdfunding campaigns so that in the end, they will be able to launch their crowdfunding campaign

Participants are required:

 

  • to have an existing company/business/project, or to present a business idea and its implementation plan;

  • to be a team of at least two persons and, if possible, be experienced in marketing or communications;

  • to be registered as a sole proprietor or have a partner registered as one;

  • to be willing to invest their time and efforts in studying at the academy and conducting their campaign. Overall, six days of training, regular online sessions, and thematic tasks to prepare for the campaign

A series of crowdfunding and project management workshops were developed by Garage Gang NGO (individual or group training).

Workshops are adjusted to specific requirements. Over the 3 years, the participants have become media, entrepreneurs, social businesses, activists, and others.
